Picking up from weeks 1-2, where I'd basically written this off as a non-event. Weeks 3-4 changed that assessment, though "changed" is doing some heavy lifting in that sentence โ it was subtle, not dramatic.
Made it through a full afternoon at my desk without the usual 3pm wall. Didn't think much of it at the time โ figured I'd just slept better the night before.
The pattern kept repeating. Not every single day, but noticeably more days than not, my afternoon crash was smaller โ still there, just less of a wall and more of a dip. This is the first thing in this whole diary I felt confident wasn't just wishful thinking, because it was consistent enough across a full week to notice a pattern.
Started paying closer attention to coffee habits, since less afternoon fatigue seemed like it should show up there too. Sure enough โ cut my usual second cup from most days to maybe half the days. Not deliberate, just didn't feel like I needed it as much.
Cravings: still unchanged at this point. This surprised me a little, since I'd expected everything to move together. In hindsight, this tracks with what I later read about the different ingredients targeting different things on different timelines.
Based on what I read afterward about the formula, the ingredients most associated with energy โ Korean Ginseng, the metabolic-support compounds โ seem to be the faster-acting category, while blood-sugar-related craving effects (from Berberine, Cinnamon) build more slowly. My own timeline lines up with that pattern reasonably well, for whatever one person's data point is worth.
Cautiously more optimistic than I'd been at week 2, but still not ready to call it a success. One category of change (energy) showing up while others (cravings, weight) stayed flat felt like a reasonable, if unglamorous, thing to report honestly.
This is where my cravings finally started to shift โ read the next entry.
